I received this NewAir AI100R Portable Ice Maker last Christmas. I think the color fits the season and my favorite too! Once unwrapped, I immediately run water for 30 minutes to lessen the plastic smell and wiped it down. As I plugged in, I added water and let this item do on its own creativity. I am actually looking something to support my ice. I have a huge fridge at home and before I just thought that was enough.All I need is something just to put my ice for parties. The thing that strikes me most is that, it forms ice….as in perfect cubes!
During my mother’s birthday last month. I brought this
in her home for ice. All my relatives were so worried because of the
insufficient ice cubes – which is extremely important because their visitor’s
are into drinking wine and spirits. My mother was so happy with the fact that I
was so ready making ice cubes – which she did not have idea that i had this
magical item! I made loads of ice and as they freeze I transfer them to visitor’s
glass or to the refrigerator. Everything went really well. The item produced
ice which is more than what I expected to be.
One thing I noticed, the way this item makes ice is
faster than ordinary refrigerators. I’m going to bring this everywhere I go and
for my parties outside like the beach. The color red is the perfect color for Christmas
as it blends its theme. It is also suitable for kitchen and for some products ,
this item blends very well.
In general, I'm in love. The pros (production, function, color, quiet size) are much better than it's con (ice will melt when the tray is full). I would advise this item to my friends who are looking for an ice maker compact.
Addition: It does not freeze and embrace the cubes over a period of time for example overnight. On the other hand...if you leave it, the ice will dissolve and leak back into the water basin, and starts the ice process again. Sounds like hard to electric bills so bag it up and save your energy!
